Hi,

I love to write. It's part 3 of my overlapping career track after specializing in serious Insurance claims and litigation, then jewelry making and teaching, each for just about 20 years more or less.

I've tried writing books; I even had a really enthusiastic agent once upon a time just as the publishing market was taking a distinct shift downward. She pushed and pushed my book until we finally gave up. Since then, I've written articles mostly and one Nanowrimo novel.

I'm the Mom part of a Mom & Son Citizen Journalism team. Together we've attended political rallies, photographed the Sarah Palin entourage before a book signing and interviewed James "Buster" Douglas, the former heavyweight champion of the world. I love getting a story and presenting it to the world.

I love Hub Pages. It's an article/web page hybrid I think will serve me well and allow me a comprehensive platform for everything I have to say.
